The Long Awaited-For ...... CIY POST!

Well, it's been a while, but I haven't stopped this. How about I tell you what you all wanted to know for a while now?

The first time I was alone while everyone else was off doing something, I do believe I was with the other church at the talent show, right? Well, after they performed (or watched the others performed) they all left, aka, left me, too, because I wanted to finish watching the other people perform. After the talent show ended, I walked outside and realized that I really had nothing to do, not being hungry or knowing where everyone else was, so I was going to head back to the dorm, until I heard....

"Hey, are you walking alone?" from a male's voice that I didn't know.

I turned around to be sure he was talking to me and looked at him, noticing I was the only one walking. I nodded and quietly said, "Yeah."

He just smiled at me and walked over to me. He draped his arm around me and said, "Stay with us. It's not right for a girl to walk alone when a guy sees her." I was thinking What the crap is up with this guy?

Then he led me over to two other people, another boy who looked like a punk and daredevil, and a preppy looking girl. Turned out that he had found the boy alone, and the girl he knew from another church he lived by.

He introduced himself as Kaleb, while we were walking towards the student activity building. The other two I learned as Melissa and Ricky. And Ricky proved me right as a daredevil. Some of you might remember a boy with long, dark brown hair and blue eyes that flipped over signs, fire hydrants and anything else he could find (like trashcans). That was Ricky. Melissa turned out to be a little preppy, but not a lot. Kaleb said he was a minister's son and he was pretty sweet (as in kind) and neat.

That whole day, before we had to part, we just hung out. Met a few more people, like some guy who reminded me of Sam, AND his name was Sam. It was funny.

On the last day, was the next time that I really went somewhere else. I found Kaleb in the basement where tables and things were. He said he had a violin, but he couldn't play well. He went to go get it and Melissa came in with a few new people. That night all we really did was sing to Kaleb's violin (AND HE WAS AWESOME!), and two boys playing guitars, as well as some guy playing the drum. Some person went upstairs, and came back down saying that they could hear us up there. By the end of the night, we even had some employees down there who were off-work and adults we didn't know, down there listening to us sing and play.

I have a video of this, but I don't have it on my computer at the moment. I'll try to put it up in some future post.

Anyway... I'm in a High School Musical 2 mood and I LOVE LUCAS GRABEEL! Therefore, here's a song with him dancing in pure white on a baseball diamond and singing with Corbin Bleu. It's called, I Don't Dance.

... *can't think of any title other than that*

I love Harry Potter!!! I love this song!!! It's called I'm Not That Girl and it's from the musical Wicked. And this is a really sweet video that I found, trying to find the Wicked version of it. If I find it before I'm done typing this entry, then I'll put it at the bottom.

Anyway. I loved the talent show. It was awesome. Pretty neat to see all the young kids that were in it. I wish we could have a winter one.

So, I said that I'd talk more about C.I.Y. when I could, right? Well, I'll add a little more in now. I'm not going to go in any order, so it's going to be a bit random.

At C.I.Y., I had a lot more fun than I thought I was. To be frankly honest, I only went to any youth event so I would be away from my family and out of the house. But I totally was blown away by this conference!

I loved the music. Foundation Red was pretty cool. I loved the activities that we could do and did. I really like the masks, that was fun.

They also had a talent show that I went to go see with another church that we went with, and some of the acts weren't all that bad. In fact, I think I liked it when it ended. Why? Because that's when I met Kaleb, Melissa, and Ricky. They caught me walking alone back to my dorm and told me to hang with them. But, that's for a different post. ;)

A Short Thing

Well, I'm not writing much tonight because I don't have time. But I had an assignment over something in my English class.

Let's just say I'm hoping to have a big surprise for my youth group come this Sunday for the talent show! *winks*

A Quickie to My Life so Far....

This is my favorite artist right now! I love this song! I want to sing it for the talent show, do you all think I can? Or do you think I'd get in trouble for it? It's Brooke Hogan's Everything to Me.

Anway, I went to CIY and it was a blast! I met some really cool people and had so much fun! (I know he's probably reading this right now, but oh well) I met this one guy named Kaleb and he was so sweet. I think I developed a crush on him. lol. I guess I'm going to be teased for that at church next time I go, huh?

I'll next time I'll talk more about CIY and what went on. School started August Ninth for me and so far, it's great being a sophomore. Our first football game went great! We won: 68 to 12!!! GO COUGARS!!!

Well, that's all the time I have right now. I promise I'll go into depth next time I add, which will be soon! Leave comments, guys!

First.....No Good Title, Yet

My name is Maeve Epans. Of course, that's just a nickname that I have gotten caught on. Maeve is
Irish for intoxicating and Epans is... well, I can't tell you. How I came up with the name Maeve Epans is I was (am) writing a fanfiction on HarryPotterFanFiction.Com called "A Pureblood Raised By Muggles." I'm still working on it, though, but Maeve Epans is my own original character.

Anyway, I'm going to tell you a few quick facts about me. I am a Christian. I like to read fantasy and horror books. Harry Potter is my favorite book, by far. I like the Deathly Hallows book the best. My favorite character is Draco Malfoy. My favorite actor is Tom Felton. My favorite actress is Emma Watson. I love to write and create images. I love taking pictures with my camera. I love taking pictures to annoy Jeremy at church, too. :)
